Three languages, three remarkable poets, and an ev Three languages, three remarkable poets, and an evening celebrating the magic of translation.

Last night, we welcomed P. Scott Cunningham, Frank Báez, and Pittburgh Arts & Lectures’s own Sony Ton-Aimé for a special Poets Aloud event celebrating international poetry. Each poem was read in Haitian Creole, Spanish, and English, offering audiences the chance to experience the same words through different languages, rhythms, and voices.

It was a beautiful reminder that while language may shape how we experience poetry, its power to move and connect us knows no borders.

Thank you to our poets and everyone who joined us for this unforgettable evening!
