“The story of the world is the story of the world' “The story of the world is the story of the world's stories.”
—Michael Chabon, speaking at Ten Evenings

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Monday for Ten Evenings with Michael Chabon, the final lecture of our 2025–26 season. The energy in the Lecture Hall was intoxicating and palpable. Last night—and all season long—you showed up to listen, learn, convene, and consider. And thank you to our lecture sponsor, @pittlibraries.

Over the course of the series, we gathered in shared curiosity and thoughtful discourse about tales, both real and imagined. By dispensing your time, attention, and presence with us, you became part of those stories, too.

We truly appreciate each and every one of you for making Pittsburgh Arts & Lectures a convening place for readers and writers, locally and beyond. We’re grateful to have spent this season with you, and we can't wait for what's next.
