The Pulitzer Prize-winning author of the play "Dis The Pulitzer Prize-winning author of the play "Disgraced" and "Homeland Elegies," Ayad Akhtar, returns to Pittsburgh on Friday, October 9, for a New & Noted lecture with his new novel, "The Radiance." Moving between rural America and Europe, Islam and Christianity, the intimate and the metaphysical, "The Radiance" is of our American moment and beyond it—asking not only what has broken, but what radiance remains.
