Her words reminded us that storytelling doesn’t just reflect our lives, it stretches them, asking us to sit with perspectives beyond our own and, in doing so, to grow a little closer to one another. There’s something special about gathering in a room full of readers, all leaning into the same conversation, the same questions, the same quiet moments of recognition. For a few hours, we get to practice that kind of understanding together. We’re so grateful you were part of it.
