Last night, the sound of laughter filled the Carne Last night, the sound of laughter filled the Carnegie Library Lecture Hall and echoed into the streets of Oakland as Alex Mayyasi and Erika Beras celebrated the newly released "PLANET MONEY: A Guide to the Economic Forces That Shape Your Life," which just became a New York Times bestseller. Through clever storytelling, surprising case studies, and moments of genuine curiosity, the live taping of their podcast, @planetmoney, brought the often invisible forces of economics into focus.
