Meet the Pittsburgh Arts & Lectures Team: Micaela Meet the Pittsburgh Arts & Lectures Team: Micaela Corn, Ticketing & Patron Experience Manager 🎟️ Micaela joined the PA&L team in July 2025 and has been hard at work supporting subscribers, single ticket holders, and creating a welcoming, joyful experience for our patrons all season long. 🎓 Previous life: Nearly a decade in marketing & communications at the University of Pittsburgh, including leading COVID-19 Medical Response communications 📚 What drew her to PA&L: A lifelong love of stories and author talks—sparked by attending Ten Evenings in 2018 (featuring Masha Gessen) and seeing firsthand how literature shapes community and civic life 🧠 Goals in her role: Build strong relationships with patrons, celebrate PA&L’s 35th anniversary season, and welcome audiences back to Carnegie Music Hall 🎨 Favorite pastimes: Baseball, biking, volunteering at Garfield Community Farm, making art, concerts, DIY theater, bookstores, and cozy coffee shop reading 🏝️ Desert island picks: Circe, a survival guide, and a blank notebook + pen 🎧 Currently reading: A steady stream of audiobooks (thank you, Libby!), including "James," "Demon Copperhead," and "Milk Fed" 📖
