Micaela Corn serves as the Ticketing and Patron Experience Manager at Pittsburgh Arts & Lectures. Originally from Brookline, MA, Micaela attended the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned degrees in psychology and nonfiction writing. Upon graduating, she worked in communications at Pitt for nearly a decade, most recently for the Schools of the Health Sciences. Micaela led communications for Pitt’s COVID-19 Medical Response Office during the emergency phase of the pandemic. A poet and writer herself, Micaela is honored now to be working in the nonprofit literary arts space, serving authors, readers, and listeners alike. Micaela’s favorite book is often whatever she’s currently reading, but her old standby answer is Widow Basquiat by Jennifer Clement.
