Nina Sabak serves as Program and Events Manager at Pittsburgh Arts & Lectures. Originally from Fairmont, WV, Nina earned her BA and MFA in writing from the University of Pittsburgh. During her career so far, she has tracked book trends around the world, shared research about childhood resilience with pediatricians, and taught in the Allegheny County Jail. Nina is the author of one poetry chapbook, Naming the Mountain, and her prose has appeared in The Rumpus, Bartleby Snopes, and Plain China. Her favorite book is probably The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov, but there are a few hundred titles in second place.
