- Matthew Desmond, author of Evicted, met with housing professionals, activists, tenants, and public officials through a partnership with The Pennsylvania Housing Alliance;
- Bird field guide author and illustrator David Sibley led a bird walk for members of the Audubon Society at Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve;
- Novelist and essayist Roxane Gay, whose work addresses issues of race, gender, and culture spoke with activists involved with ending violence against women at the Downtown YWCA.
- PA&L partnered with Autism Connection of Pennsylvania to present author John Elder Robison with new memoir that details his life with Asperger syndrome and his participation in a pioneering study.
