The featured writers from Creative Nonfiction’s new publication, Pittsburgh in Words, read us their essays about our beloved city. As part of CNF’s 2008 Creative Nonfiction Writers' Conference: Writing about Science & Technology, new and emerging writers, locals and ex-pats alike, celebrate all things Pittsburgh.
Following the reading, we're please to announce the screening of John Rice's Milk Crate, a short film part of "Greetings from Pittsburgh: Neighborhood Narratives", a series of short, fictional, narrative films portraying the experience, story and character of Pittsburgh diverse neighborhoods.
Rick Sebak, writer, producer and director of such classic Pittsburgh documentaries as Kennywood Memories and The Strip Show, will be our emcee.
Tickets are $10 each at the door. You can purchase tickets online with an additional 75 cent handling fee or order by phone at 412.622.8866 with an additional $2 handling charge.
